SECTION B CATTLE
All stock transport must park their vehicles as directed.
No stock to be removed from the showgrounds before 4:00pm as per show regulations.
NOTE:  Prize Money will be paid out by Stewards on day of Show.

Classes for registered cattle only.  Date of birth and registration
number to be given for all entries in those classes.

SECTION B - CATTLE
All stock transport must park their vehicles as directed. No stock to be removed from the showgrounds before 4:00pm as per show regulations. NOTE:  Prize Money will be paid out by Stewards on day of Show. ENTRIES CLOSE AS PER HEADING OF EACH BREED Entrance fee $2.50 (Inc GST) per class, unless otherwise specified. Subscriptions and Entry Fees must be paid to Mt. Pleasant Show Society prior to judging. No prize money where a Trophy is donated. Classes for registered cattle only.  Date of birth and registration number to be given for all entries in those classes.

SPECIAL NOTE TO ALL CATTLE EXHIBITORS
  1. Exhibitors to adhere to space allotted by the Society.
  2. All exhibits must come from properties with J-BAS6 or above.

  3. Cattle will be required to be tested for Pestivirus and certified as non-PI (persistently infected). Exhibitors must complete section 3b on the National Cattle Health Declaration stating this testing complete. Copies of test results must be submitted with entry forms."
  4. Cattle judging commences as per programme.
  5. All exhibitors must be members of the Mt. Pleasant Show Society.
  6. All cattle to be led in the ring.
  7. All ages stipulated for beef and dairy cattle must be adhered to.
  8. All bulls over one year must be nose rung.
  9. All cattle must have nose clips when being led, excluding Calf at Foot.
  10. Cattle Trucks use “Cattle gate” entrance before 7.00 a.m.
  11. All dairy cattle please refer to “Rules and Regulations” re notification of scratchings.
  12. All exhibitors refer “Rules & Regulations”, re removal of stock (paragraphs 5 & 29)
  13. All exhibitors are responsible for disposal of milk.No milk to be disposed of on grounds. Any breach of these rules will incur a fine of up to $100.
  14. Calf at foot must be under 9 months as at 1st march 2018.
  15.  “Calves at Foot” are not to be exhibited in classes 4 or 11 (Female/Bull – Under 9 months).

JUNIOR BEEF CATTLE JUDGING COMPETITION
Junior beef cattle judging open to all young people under the age of 25 years by 1st September 2018.  Winner can compete in Junior Judging at Royal Adelaide Show 2018.  No entry fee.   Prizes donated by Mrs. D. Anderson. Judging to take place after Beef Cattle Judging.

NEW OJD Policy for Sheep Sections at all SA Country Shows
Entries will only be accepted from exhibitors who can provide a National
Sheep Health Statement (SHS) which states that the flock is in the Sheep
Market Assurance Program (Sheep MAP) and/or can provide proof that the
animals to be exhibited are approved vaccinates (as defined in the explanatory notes of the SHS).
At the time of entry exhibitors must provide a complete National SHS and/or an approved vaccination declaration with the entry form.

Johne’s MN Status and Brucellosis number to be included on the entry form.

All stock transport must park their vehicles as directed.
