SECTION F - ALPACA FEATURE SHOW

Formal entries must be received by the Alpaca Section Convenors by 5pm Tuesday 3rd March 2026.

Only entries via E-Alpaca will be accepted. NO LATE ENTRIES WILL BE ACCEPTED.

All Alpaca Entry forms, Classes, Information and Conditions of Entry can ONLY be obtained from the AAA website at https://www.ealpaca.com.au. DO NOT use the Entry Form in this Show Schedule. 

Entry Fee $2.20 (Inc GST) per entry, plus AAA SA Region levy, and Show Society Membership $25.00 (Inc GST).

All exhibitors MUST be financial members of the Mt. Pleasant Show Society.

Specific entry and fee payment instructions will be provided on E-Alpaca.

Animals may arrive at the Showgrounds from 7.00am.

All alpacas must be penned in their allocated pens by 8.30 am. Animals not penned at that time may be disqualified from the Show by order of the Chief Steward (Alpaca Section). Pre-show vet/steward checks will commence at 8 am. Judging of alpacas may commence at 9.30am, depending upon entry numbers.

Showing of alpacas will be in accordance with the rules, regulations and conditions of the Mt. Pleasant Show Society, the current Australian Alpaca Association  Showing Rules and any other Conditions of Entry specified in the Entry Form and Information provided by the AAA SA Region through the Alpaca Section Convenors or the Secretary, Mt. Pleasant Show Society. Animals must comply with the animal health requirements as set out by the Mt Pleasant Show Society.

The Chief Steward (Alpaca Section) is authorised to enforce any decisions deemed appropriate under the current AAA Showing Rules and any other conditions of entry specified in the Entry Form and information provided by the AAA SA Region.

Classes will be split or joined if numbers warrant.

Suri and Huacaya sections will be alternately judged on the day.

BEST COLOUR CLASSES – ANIMAL. Awarded from all first place ribbon recipients in each colour class/age group. Best White, Light Fawn, Medium /Dark Fawn, Brown, Grey, Roan, Fancy and Black Huacaya animal.

JUNIOR HANDLER SECTION

Please note that all entrants to this section will need to complete an entry form (see www.ealpaca.com.au) and pay associated fee before the close of entries date, to be able to compete on the day. No 'on the day entries' will be accepted, except at the Convenor’s discretion.
